This is a queen size quilt that I quilted for my sister on my longarm machine. I wish this photo was a close-up but I wanted to show the entire quilt!
Here is a picture of the back. It shows the quilting in better detail. I quilted in the ditch around the triangle blocks that make up the flower portion of the basket. I used parallel lines to give the basket detail. In the bottom triangle, I freehanded a dragonfly with heart-shaped wings. In the side blocks I freehanded two daisies joined with a swirl. For the inside border I quilted a diamond shaped crosshatch. The block pattern is repeated throughout.
This is a detail of the borders. You can see the diamond shaped crosshatching on the floral and blue borders. I alternated freehand daisies and dragonflies connected with swirls.
Price example for this quilt:
Example: 108”x92” = 9936 sq. inch

@ $0.03/sq. inch = $298.08
Plus separate border @ $5.00 =
$303.08
Plus machine binding @ $0.20/
linear inch
400 linear inches = $80.00
Total = $383.08
I have a detailed price list that I will post in the next couple days.
Thanks for checking my site out!
